Advanced Pharma, a dedicated Phase I-IV comprehensive research facility, has finalized a lease with The University of Miami Life Science & Technology Park's (UMLSTP) developer, Wexford Miami, LLC.
Miami, FL, September 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Advanced Pharma CR, LLC, one of South Florida’s largest, dedicated Phase I-IV clinical research facilities, is proud to announce that it has finalized a lease to relocate to the University of Miami Life Science and Technology Park’s first building, a 252,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility.
Advanced Pharma’s move into UMLSTP means a major expansion for the company, quadrupling its facility’s current size to 20,000 square feet. The new space will also include a 100-bed dedicated phase I unit, a 16-bed Intensive Procedural Unit (IPU), and an additional 5,000 square feet of dedicated space for phases II-IV encompassing multi-specialty divisions.
Samantha Amaba, President and co-founder, knew right away that UMLSTP was the perfect choice for a new location. “As our organization has faced rapid expansion, our goal became relocating our facility to a building that would accommodate our capacity needs, but also enable us to provide a level of quality and service to our clients that surpass any other clinical research site,” stated Ms. Amaba. “The UMLSTP provides the exact platform and amenities that we have been seeking, and it also will prove key in helping us network with the University of Miami, its faculty, the Jackson Health System, and the other major institutes of the Health District.”
