American College of Healthcare Sciences Hires Marion Lane as Newest Member of Admissions Team
Portland, OR, September 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Marion Lane has been hired as an Admissions Advisor for the American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS). ACHS is based in the John’s Landing area of Portland, Oregon, and was one of the first accredited, fully online colleges offering degrees, diplomas, and career-training certificates in complementary alternative medicine.
Lane joins ACHS with more than 15 years’ experience in Admissions and higher education. She first became interested in holistic health after completing an introductory massage course and recently completed her cosmetology training, receiving her certificate and licenses in Estetics and Nail Technology. In her free time, Lane makes her own goat milk soaps, lotions, and perfumes.
As part of the ACHS team, Lane plans to further her holistic health training with aromatherapy courses, which will expand her personal knowledge of product making, as well as her professional knowledge of the multifaceted hands-on training ACHS students receive, Lane says.
“I’m looking forward to supporting ACHS students through the admissions process, as well as supporting students' professional and personal goals,” Lane says. “I am a people person. I like sharing information with people all over the world, and helping them to find the right program to successfully achieve their goals.”
