Buckingham, PA, April 08, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Buckingham resident Wendel Doubleday kicked off his campaign for Buckingham Township Supervisor this week with an initial speech to a group of local supporters and the launch of his new campaign Web site, http://www.wendeldoubleday.com .
“I have carefully considered the key issues for bringing trust back to Buckingham Township government, and I am looking forward to aggressively campaigning for township supervisor,” Doubleday stated. “I plan to meet with residents from all areas of Buckingham, and also use my Web site to communicate more details on my plan to help solve the challenges which face Buckingham Township and its residents.”
Doubleday, an 8 year resident of Buckingham Township where he lives with his wife of 18 years, is a PhD chemist in the pharmaceutical industry. As an experienced professional who collaborates with integrity and with others having diverse views, he routinely works to achieve the best solutions to deal with issues that arise. Doubleday believes he can bring these critical skills and fresh ideas to help bring responsible decision-making back to a currently divisive Board of Supervisors.
Buckingham Township is currently represented by a three person board of supervisors, with one of the seats up for grabs this year. Doubleday will challenge the incumbent, a Democrat, in the May primary.
