Blue Mountain Coffee (Europe) Limited Introduces First Jamaica Blue Mountain Rainforest Alliance Certified Coffee to the European Market
The Jamaica Blue Mountain Estate Coffee, Clifton Mount Estate, has been awarded Rainforest Alliance Certification. It is the first Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee to gain ethical certification destined to Europe. Blue Mountain Coffee (Europe) Limited has registered as a Rainforest Alliance trader.
London, United Kingdom, September 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Guy Wilmot of Blue Mountain Coffee (Europe) Limited said, “We are very happy to advise that our Jamaica Blue Mountain Estate Coffee, Clifton Mount Estate, has acquired Rainforest Alliance certification and is the only Jamaican coffee available in Europe certified by the Rainforest Alliance.
“Clifton Mount Estate is situated in St. Andrew in the most spectacularly beautiful location in the Blue Mountains on the Eastern slope of St. Catherine's Peak. It has a beautiful early 19th century house, surrounded by formal showpiece gardens in which peacocks roam, enjoying incredible views and surrounded by vineyard-like stands of well ordered coffee trees.
“The estate was founded in the mid-18th century and a Robert Hamilton was in possession and working coffee in 1810 according to an official land survey of the time. Clifton Mount Estate comprises 112 hectares of which 72 hectares are under coffee standing at 1,300 metres above sea level.”

To this end, we hold our principal stock in Antwerp & East of London with subsidiary stocks in Hamburg, Barcelona & Trieste, managed by our distributor partners. We have a programme of regular topping up and replacement from Jamaica via Antwerp in place.
