Dixon, IL, September 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon will visit St. Mary’s School, 704 S. Peoria Ave., Dixon, Ill., on Sept. 16, where the balloon crew will present an interactive educational program developed and sponsored by the RE/MAX Northern Illinois real estate network.
The 200 students at St. Mary’s will learn about various aspects of ballooning, including its history and the scientific principles involved, and they will see a demonstration on how the balloon functions. The RE/MAX balloon and its crew are expected to make nearly 100 presentations this year in northern Illinois.
The program will be presented twice in the school gymnasium starting at 12:30 p.m., with half of the students attending each presentation.
