'Spring ahead, Fall back'
Tells us how to reset the clock. On the last sunday of october (10-30-2005), in the fall (autumn) the clock will be set back an hour.
The concept of daylight saving time (DST) was first seriously proposed by William Willett in the "Waste of Daylight", published in 1907, but he was unable to get the British government to adopt it, despite considerable lobbying.
In 2006 the DST in the US will be from April 2 to October 29, in Europe from March 26 to October 29.
