Baxley Continues Strong Play at Saddlebrook

Tampa, FL, April 10, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The USA Golf Tour held its third tournament of the season at Saddlebrook Golf Club in Wesley Chapel, FL on Sunday. Each tournament consists of 4 formats. In the first format 2-man Best Ball Gross Scores.
The Gross Best Ball Team Format was won by the team of Michael Coburn and Efrian Cruz with a score of 74. Jim Barbieri and Joesph Sierra came in second with a score of 75. Third Place was held by David Riggs and Stan White with a score of 75.

Robbie Baxley’s net score of 63 was the low round in the Handicap Net Format. David Riggs finished second with a net score of 65. With Tim Coplen finishing third with a score of 67.
In the Handicap Team Best Ball Format 4 teams finished tied at 60 with the playoff being won by the team of Jim Barbieri and Joesph Sierra. The team of David Riggs and Stan White finished second and Efrian Cruz and Michael Coburn finished third.

Bardmoor Golf & Tennis Club is one of the premier public golf courses in Tampa, Florida. For thirteen years, Bardmoor was host to a professional golf tournament, later known as the JC Penney Classic, as well as prestigious local tournaments. Notable golf greats such as Arnold Palmer, Payne Stewart, Tom Weiskoff, Fred Couples, Tom Kite, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Greg Norman, David Love III, Paul Azinger, Jan Stephenson, Julie Inkster, Dawn Coe Jones and Nancy Lopez have all graced Bardmoor as tournament participants.
