GrapeCity PowerTools ActiveAnalysis Now Supports SSAS Actions, Connection Through ADO.NET Providers and In-Memory Schema
ActiveAnalysis from GrapeCity PowerTools offers enhanced support for more databases and optimized business operations.
Morrisville, NC, September 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Today, GrapeCity PowerTools, publishers of the award-winning ActiveReports, ActiveAnalysis, and Spread products, announces the availability of a new maintenance release of ActiveAnalysis 2 (version 2.1.705.0) with significant feature enhancements.
Developers can now initiate SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Service) actions to add value to their cube data. The supported target actions are Schema, Members and Data points (cells). In addition, ActiveAnalysis is now capable of using ADO.NET data providers such as SQLite and SQLCE. Another new feature is flexibility in setting custom schemas with support for in-memory schemas.
ActiveAnalysis is a .NET analysis component that allows developers to rapidly embed out-of-the box OLAP, data visualization and BI features using charts, pivot tables, and data visualization for Silverlight, Windows Forms, and ASP.NET.
