Legacy Village’s signature summer show returns September 24 – 25, with another fine production, Art in the Village Part II. Festivalgoers can look forward to seeing some of the same artists as well as new exhibitors and a myriad of artwork on display and for sale. As always the artistic media represented will include paintings, life size sculptures, photography, glass, wood, jewelry, collage and ceramics with prices ranging from $25 hand-designed earrings to $30,000 metal sculptures. Additional activities include a wine tasting event as well as live music. Admission is free and open to the public.
“We are thrilled to return to Legacy Village with part II of our popular summer art festival,” says festival promoter Howard Alan. “We take pride in producing high-end juried art shows and present a truly diverse group of leading artists from around the country with their finest work.”
The artists, juried by an independent panel of expert judges, are hand-selected from hundreds of applicants based on quality and diversity. All of their artwork is original and handmade in America. Howard Alan Events stipulates that all artists are required to be on-site for the entire duration of the show. The artists will line Legacy Village with their gallery style display booths, transforming this popular shopping and dining destination into a first-class outdoor art gallery. The public can meet and talk with the artists personally, asking questions about their art and inspiration. Art in the Village makes the arts accessible to a broad audience. The event appeals to people of all ages as a free and fun weekend activity, as well as serious art buyers looking to add to their collections.
Additional Activities:
Wine Tasting – Hosted by the Ohio Wine Producers Association
· Sat. & Sun. - Noon to 6 p.m
· Tasting tickets will be available for $1 each or full glass for $6.
· Proceeds to benefit local charities.
