The Callaway Tour Fit Van will be at Primus Golf Academy on September 16th, offering the tour pro experience to attendees who will receive free club fittings and see their custom clubs built on site.
Wildomar, CA, September 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Callaway Tour Fit Van, Callaway’s premier mobile fitting and golf club creation vessel, will be at Primus Golf Academy on Friday, September 16th, 2011 from 1pm till 7pm.
During the fitting, vans stay at the indoor golf facility in Wildomar, Callaway club fitting and club building specialists will be offering local golfers the chance to experience what it's like to be inside the ropes. During the event at Primus Golf, golfers will get a chance to test the latest drivers and irons with custom shafts from Mitsubishi Rayon, Fujikura, Aldila, Grafalloy, and Matrix. Club fitting experts will personally work with each golfer to find the equipment that helps them meet their performance goals.
During each golfer’s fitting appointment, Callaway’s trained Tour Fit Technicians will provide one of three fittings: a driver fitting, an iron fitting, or a wedge fitting. After the fitting, golfers will have the unique opportunity to watch their clubs be custom built before their eyes in the Callaway Tour Fit Van, thus creating the ultimate Tour Pro experience.
While being custom fit for a driver, the Tour Fit Van Representative hosting the experience will work with golfers to find the best Callaway driver for them in order to maximize driver distance and accuracy utilizing Trackman. This includes matching the ideal combination of club head, loft, shaft flex and length to optimize launch conditions, which will then subsequently maximize distance and accuracy.
During an iron fitting, the Tour Fit Van Representative will provide the players with the ideal Callaway Iron specifications to achieve the greatest accuracy, shot making performance, and distance control for their golf swings. This process will include selecting hybrids. Additionally, this fitting will include maximizing performance based on optimum lie angle, shaft length, shaft material, shaft flex and grip size.
The proper wedge fitting will determine the best wedges for golfers based upon course playing conditions. Through the fitting, the Tour Fit Van Technicians will determine the precise number of wedges and lofts needed to improve the short game as well as the custom fitting aspects of lie angles, sole grinds and bounce configurations.
Once the ideal club composition is selected, Callaway club builders will then build golfers’ equipment on site in the Callaway Tour Fit Van workshop. Callaway builds the equipment custom, for each golfer, to their exact specifications, and can also provide Tour Fit Van exclusive services such as hand stamping wedges with a name or initials.
