YES! deLIVERs Awareness and HOPE for People Living with Liver Tumors to Debbie Durkin's ECO Emmy Celebrity Chateau

From Capitol Hill to the Red Carpet, YES! Continues to Advocate for Patients

Los Angeles, CA, September 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- YES! Beat Liver Tumors, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the support of patients diagnosed with primary or metastatic cancers of the liver, announced today another opportunity to support its mission of raising awareness on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 16 - 17, 2011 at the 5th Annual ECO Emmy’s Celebrity Chateau.

“We have had such an exciting year with events from Washington, D.C., to Los Angeles educating audiences on the treatment options and support available for patients with liver tumors,” said Suzanne Lindley, co-founder and executive director of YES! who herself is living with terminal cancer. “We are excited about the opportunity to share our message with such an influential audience at the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards.”

Lindley and YES! will attend Debbie Durkin’s ECO Emmy exclusive pre-event celebrity chateau as well as provide materials to each guest in the highly anticipated gift bags. “Hope in the Sand” photos from patients around the globe will be available for viewing and celebrity signing. The photos express the need for Hope that is essential following the diagnosis of liver tumors while others share celebration, milestones and miracles. Together, these pictures say “YES to Hope!”

To date YES! has hosted patient-centric events in Ohio, Texas, Rhode Island, North Carolina, Arizona, Washington, Illinois, Puerto Rico, and Washington, D.C., as well as an advocacy day on Capitol Hill. YES! has also been featured in USA Today, and Suzanne was highlighted as an op-ed contributor in the New York Times and Washington Post earlier this year voicing her perspective as a patient facing healthcare reform.
