Load.CD Launches a New Music Jobs Catalogue That Allows Musicians and Employers Post Ads Online

From now on, job-seekers and employers can instantly post their offers online. Musicians seeking a job can upload detailed curriculum vitae and point out the desired type of employment they are searching for. Employers, in their turn, can provide a minute description of the position they are looking to fill. To contact the employer or apply for a job it is possible directly via the ad at the site by a single click. The job database is supplemented with a special filter for easier selection. Users can search it by type of employment, country, business or profession, styles and instruments. The catalogue is socially-oriented: both applications as well as offers can be circulated via Twitter and Facebook. The service is free and available to every registered user. Every job/service post links visitors to the personal site of the musician. The sites contain all necessary data about the music background of the job-seeker. Potential employers have the opportunity to get acquainted with applicant’s biographical data, career landmarks, gallery, articles and press-releases, if provided. Examples of music works can be found there as well. Most sheet music files are accompanied by PDF previews and audio samples that can be played directly at the site.

Job Catalogue presents an interesting addition to another Load.CD’s global project – CCI. That is the world's largest index of contemporary composers with already more than 14,000 entries. Any modern composer can be added to the list: either making a request him-/herself or on request of family/friends/etc. Load.CD keeps working on more projects for improving the existing online community of musicians.
