City of Brewer, Maine, Purchases Shade Systems Canopy to Fight Risk of Skin Cancer
Brewer, ME, September 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Shade Systems is proud to have provided the City of Brewer, Maine, a "Double Post Hip" shade system at their municipal pool to provide much-needed cooling shade relief and U.V. protection.
When the Maine Cancer Control Program offered the city a Skin Cancer Mini-Grant, city staff seized the offer. Mr. Ken Hanscom, Parks and Recreation Director for the City of Brewer, explained that “skin cancer is a concern, even in Maine.”
