National Log Home Company Announces "Build America" Program to Revitalize American Products and Housing Market
Middlesex, NC, September 21, 2011 --(PR.com)-- eLogHomes, one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of log home packages and materials, proudly announces the launch of Build America, a special discount program created for the employees of organizations that serve America.
“We want to make it easier and more affordable for our nation’s military, fire, police, first responders, healthcare providers, educator’s and civil servants to be able to own a piece of the American dream,” said Michael Wild, the company’s information officer.
The Build America program offers a 5% across the board discount on the purchase of any log home and a 1% donation back to the home buyer’s membership organization. Examples of approved organizations include national non-profits, such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association, conservation groups such as Ducks Unlimited and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. corporations such as Lockheed Martin and Johnson & Johnson, and all branches of the U.S. Military.
To complement the Build America program, all of eLogHomes are made in America products from timber sourced from the eastern U.S. “Log homes are an excellent example of an energy efficient home that makes use of natural, renewable resources to support a healthy home environment,” continued Wild.
An example of an organization whose members benefit from Build America is the national organization MADD – Mother’s Against Drunk Driving.
“We, at MADD, are happy to be partnering with eLogHomes Build America program. It is a win-win situation for non-profits such as ours, to receive contributions from eLogHomes in order to provide more free programs and services... and to make our roadways safer for everyone,” said Barbara Blackburn, Director of Victim Services, MADD NC.
Another advocate of the Build America program is Harold Ray Denton, the former Director of the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation at the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (USNRC).
“I was a civil servant for most of my career,” explained Denton, best known for his role as President Jimmy Carter's personal adviser for the Three Mile Island (TMI) accident. “It’s hard to find a product made in the USA anymore, so many of our industries have moved away. The Build America program is a way of keeping jobs here and working with American industries and their employees and members.” See Denton’s endorsement on eLogHomes You Tube Channel.
eLogHomes also boast over 75 years of combined experience in the log home industry and the most comprehensive interactive online gallery of homes at eLogHomes.com. The gallery employs cutting edge graphic and database technologies to deliver a full and informative shopping experience with more than two hundred additional blueprint designs.
“Our customers save time, money, and energy before they ever buy a home from us,” said Wild.
Donna & James McCrummen of Alabama are examples of customers that utilized the easy and interactive features of the Web site to choose and order their log home. “From the very beginning, which consisted of Donna finding the eLogHomes.com website and sharing it with me, the building of our home has been painless!” said James McCrummen.
