Sperry Associates Federal Credit Union Appoints New Director of Human Resources – Global HR Executive Sandra Baron to Lead Organization’s Development
Garden City Park, NY, September 22, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Sperry Associates Federal Credit Union today announced the appointment of Sandra Baron as Director of Human Resources. Ms. Baron joins Sperry from Country Life LLC, a Kikkoman Group Company, in Hauppauge, New York.
Viewed as a strong leader by colleagues, Baron has 30 years of human resource experience. Her areas of expertise include benefits, compensation, organizational procedures, talent management, training and development, and labor relations. At Country Life, she served as a change agent, revitalizing the firm’s culture during a corporate transition; Baron also restructured global operations, ensured compliance with new FDA regulations and increased retirement plan ROI for both participants and the company.
Baron previously served as Global Human Resources Vice President at E-Z-EM, Inc., now a subsidiary of Milan-based Bracco Imaging, a world leader in diagnostic imaging. There, she led multiple HR departments, implementing programs and policies for corporate headquarters and facilities in the United States, Canada, Japan, Netherlands, Puerto Rico and United Kingdom.
Baron holds a B.A. in Biology and M.B.A. in Management from the C.W. Post Center of Long Island University. Professional affiliations include: Society for Human Resource Management, American Payroll Association, New York Business Group on Health, Action Long Island and Long Island Forum for Technology.
