Atlanta, GA, September 23, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Atlanta-based non-profit association Women in Technology (WIT) has invited Kelly Quattlebaum, president of Global Marcoms, an Atlanta-based company that offers social media training as well as marketing and communication support, to return as a guest speaker in the Executive Readiness program. Quattlebaum is a social media trainer and public speaker who offers training seminars on social networking tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare, to executives and professionals in the Metro-Atlanta area. This will be Quattlebaum's third invitation to participate in the program.
The WIT Executive Readiness program offers a unique combination of individual coaching and small-group training to help candidates develop personal strategies, promote their successes and gain visibility to demonstrate that their careers are on the fast track. The program is exclusively offered to senior-level women in leadership positions in their company who have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the field of technology, as well as experience managing a team of direct reports.
"WIT is proud to offer a program that provides leadership training that enables our candidates to increase their visibility within the business community," said Judy Bowers, WIT 2011 Careers in Action program director. "Kelly's session provided significant added value to our recent graduates by enabling them to achieve greater visibility by establishing their personal brand using social media and social networking. She is an energetic and dynamic speaker, and it is a pleasure to have her return for the fall program."
Quattlebaum's 3-hour session, Build Your Personal Brand with Social Media, will explore how each executive can establish her unique brand using social media tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter. "It is an honor to be involved in such a remarkable program that helps women take their careers to the next level," said Quattlebaum. "Understanding how to create an Internet presence that successfully communicates your brand is an essential skill for any executive. During the presentation, I demonstrate how social networking tools can be used to position these senior-level executives as thought leaders and experts in their industry."
The 8-week Executive Readiness program is offered twice per year and culminates with the Capstone event in which candidates recapitulate their experience with honored guests, previous graduates, speakers and coaches.
