Parry Thorsten Partners Announce New Head of Corporate Trading
Parry Thorsten Partners have announced that Mr. Ronald Lent – formerly of ABN Amro will be joining the Swiss commodity brokerage firm in November 2011.
Zurich, Switzerland, September 23, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Parry Thorsten Partners have announced that Mr. Ronald Lent, formerly the Chief Overseas Trading Manager with ABN Amro will be taking up the role of Head of Corporate Trading at Parry Thorsten Partners later this year.
Mr. Lent will be replacing Mr. Stefan Holtz (Parry Thorsten’s current Head of Corporate Trading) in November as part of the firms planned reorganization and expansion efforts. Mr. Holtz has been with Parry Thorsten for over 10 years but announced his plans for retirement earlier this year.
Mr. Holtz said “I have spent many years in this industry and I know Ronald Lent well, I’m pleased Ronald will be the person to take over my responsibilities as Head of Corporate Trading here at Parry Thorsten. I think it’s a very wise move to bring him in to the company at this time and I’m sure Ronald will perform extremely well in his duties for Parry Thorsten and I wish him every success.”
Mr. Lent Said “I’m very eager to get off to a running start at Parry Thorsten, I know the company well and I’m excited to work amongst the people there. This is a great opportunity that the company has given me and I intend to make the very best of it.”
Mr. Lent’s move to Parry Thorsten Partners is the first of many planned top level re-organizational efforts that the company is implementing. Mr. Benjamin Blass, head of corporate strategy said “We plan to take on more top level executives by the end of the year. Our company has seen rapid growth in the past couple of years and we now plan to expand and take advantage of this increasing interest in the coming months.”
Mr. Lent will join Parry Thorsten Partners in November this year and is scheduled to speak at the company’s next shareholders meeting to be held on the 21st November 2011.
