MMI Associates, Inc. Writer Releases New Book
Raleigh, NC, April 11, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Patty Briguglio, president of MMI Associates, Inc., a Raleigh-based marketing and public relations firm, has announced that Wesley Hyatt, writer for the firm, has released the book Kicking Off The Week: A History of Monday Night Football on ABC Television, 1970-2005. Chapters cover Monday Night Football’s inception, its many lineup changes in the announcers’ booth, how it influenced sports coverage on other networks and the relationship between the NFL and ABC. Hyatt, a native of Chapel Hill, has written five other nonfiction books, including “The Encyclopedia of Daytime Television,” “The Billboard Book of Number One Adult Contemporary Hits,” “Short-Lived Television Series, 1948-1978,” “A Critical History of Television’s The Red Skelton Show, 1951-1971” and “Emmy Award Winning Nighttime Television Shows, 1948-2004.”
“I interviewed many participants who were involved in Monday Night Football and researched countless books and articles to come up with a book I feel is both factual and entertaining,” said Hyatt. “I hope others other’s enjoy the book as much as I did.”
