New York, NY, September 24, 2011 --(PR.com)-- DAMN Digital Studio, LLC., an interactive agency based in New York’s Digital District, will showcase a diverse selection of current works in progress at the annual Dumbo Arts Festival. DAMN Digital helps digitize brands by designing and developing for emerging technology platforms in the digital space.
The Dumbo Arts Festival is a yearly event that highlights Brooklyn’s artists, musicians, dancers, poets, and other artists throughout the streets of Dumbo. Over 500 artists, 100 studios, 50 galleries, and 100 programmers will participate this year. The festival will take place Friday, September 23rd through Sunday, September 25th.
DAMN Digital will display its latest Interactive children’s book, “If Only I Could,” from Soul Vision Publications. The book is a fully interactive application that engages young audiences in literature in a whole new way, immersing their imaginations with stories, images, interactivity and animation. Additional displays include a video montage exploring how individuals of all ages, young and old, interact with digital devices they encounter for the very first time. A video presentation, designed using Processing, Max/MSP and Cinema 4D by Missnommer, will be on display highlighting a combination of color, space and architecture.
DAMN Digital will transform its office space into an open studio, allowing the community to visit at their leisure while learning about the agency and its current projects. DAMN Digital’s Studio, “The Digital Zone,” will be filled with the creative sounds of The Clark Kents, which include veteran producer Robert E. Clark, Jr. and multi-talented songwriter and composer, Madli Kents. This dynamic duo is the in-house production team for DAMN Digital and derives its moniker from the combination of both group member’s last names.
The public is welcomed to visit DAMN Digital to view these displays during the Dumbo Arts Festival. View the DAMN Digital Open Studio listing at http://dumboartsfestival.com/events/danii-oliver/.
