EF Chief Technology Officer Dr. Enio Ohmaye Speaks at TEDxESPM

Causeway Bay, Hong Kong S.A.R., September 28, 2011 --(PR.com)-- From dishwasher to doctorate, Dr. Enio Ohmaye, Chief Technology Officer and Chief Experience Officer for EF Education First, will be speaking at TEDxESPM in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on September 29th. Before joining EF, Dr. Ohmaye worked as a Senior Scientist at Apple Computer, and earned his PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Education from Northwestern University.

For his TEDx talk, Dr. Ohmaye will be returning to his native Sao Paulo after studying and working abroad since the age of 18. Although a self-proclaimed Brazilian at heart, Dr. Ohmaye’s experiences of living overseas, working with technology and international education and mastering multiple languages (including computer programming languages) allows him to be the perfect, inspirational speaker for the conference’s theme of “Communication Illuminating Minds.”

EF’s CTO will, for the first time, talk to his breadth of experience, from washing dishes in New York to cofounding EF Englishtown, the world’s largest online English school. He will share his insights into how hardship can inform our personal and professional lives.
