The Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs is launching its Atlanta chapter with an event entitled "Recession-Proofing Your Business and Career," with keynote speakers Tariq Farid, CEO of Edible Arrangements and Anne-Marie Campbell, President of the Home Depot Southern Division. Come to the October 8, 2011 event held at the Westin Buckhead in Atlanta from 10am-3pm to take part in this exciting new organization.
Atlanta, GA, September 28, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs (OPEN) launches its Atlanta chapter with a special event focused on what it takes to succeed in both your business and career. The conference will be held on Saturday Oct. 8 from 10am-3pm at the Westin Buckhead Hotel in Atlanta.
Keynote speakers Tariq Farid, Founder, President and CEO of Edible Arrangements International, and Anne-Marie Campbell, Southern Division President at Home Depot, will talk about adapting to change and how businesses can not just survive, but thrive, in today’s tough economic times.
Two panels feature additional ideas and advice from successful business leaders representing diverse industries, including technology, retail, consumer goods, healthcare and the media.
Successful Entrepreneurs on “What it Takes to Succeed”
· How to innovate, navigate growth and manage risk.
· Panelists include Imran Sayeed, Senior VP, Keane Inc. (Global technology) and Aziz Hashim, CEO, NRD Holdings & Dandle Inc.
Senior Corporate Executives on “Growing Your Career”
· What it takes to stand out and succeed in the changing workplace.
· Panelists include Ali Khan, Asst. Surgeon General and Director of the CDC’s Public Health Preparedness Program and Penny McIntyre, Group President, Office Products, Newell Rubbermaid.
