Odyne’s Advanced Hybrid Propulsion System Featured on an International Chassis Reduces Fuel Consumption by Up To 50%
Waukesha, WI, September 28, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Waukesha based Odyne Systems, LLC, a leading manufacturer of hybrid systems for medium and heavy duty work trucks, is showcasing its new advanced hybrid propulsion system in booth 4551 at the ICUEE show October 4-6 in Louisville, Kentucky. The plug-in hybrid system, shown on an International chassis, is designed to interface with a wide variety of truck mounted equipment, saving fuel, reducing emissions and providing quieter operation at the work site. Odyne’s plug-in hybrid truck system increases fuel efficiency and power while driving by using a rugged Remy electric motor in parallel with the existing drive train to provide launch assist and regenerative braking. At the jobsite, the Odyne hybrid plug-in battery system featuring lithium ion battery packs powers worksite applications. A Remy motor display will also be featured in the booth.
