Big Trees Inc Announces Latest Arrivals to Nursery
Seattle Nursery Growing in Size and Variety with New Trees Arriving for Fall
Snohomish, WA, September 30, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The new arrivals are now being announced for the Northwest US tree nursery and installation specialists company Big Trees, Inc. (http://www.bigtreesupply.com). The company's nursery is located 35 miles north of Seattle and is available for business hours (Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM) and Saturday 10AM to 4PM, no advance notice necessary for Nursery consultation.
Ross Latham, owner of Big Trees Inc., stated “We are always looking to expand our selection in the nursery, especially as the seasons change, allowing for people to find the right tree for their landscape. As we come to fall a number of new arrivals are of note.
“The Emerald Grearea. They are often planted in rows to create a ‘Natural’ barrier. The Auten Arborvitae is one of the most popular and dependable screening trees for our umn Blaze maple has brilliant bright red fall color. It is one of the first trees to go into fall color and one of the longest to hold the fall color. The Autumn Flame Maple is fast growing, upright tree that becomes broadly rounded with age and reaches 35-45 feet tall. New foliage emerges vibrant red, turns dark green in summer and brilliant orange to fiery 'champagne' red in fall. The Grand Fir is one of the tallest firs, reaching heights of approximately 100 feet in the northwest. Whereas the Shore Pine are smaller structured trees, slower growers and suited to smaller landscapes.
“The Norway Spruce can grow 2+ feet per year their first 25 years under good conditions, in heavy or poor soils they may average 1 foot per year. This is not a tree for a small yard! Last there is the Jacquemontii Birch, which is known for its white bark. In fact it has the whitest bark of all the birches and it renews its color yearly by shedding outer layers of bark, which peel off in papery sheets.
“We like to keep people informed of the new arrivals, as many people are not aware of the number of choices available when selecting the right tree for their yard. Our nursery staff are on call for consultation to find the perfect tree for your yard,” concluded Ross Latham.
Big Trees Inc. is one of the largest tree nurseries in the Seattle area with over 120,000 trees available in over 300 varieties. They not only can deliver young trees but also mature trees in a wide range of sizes. Some types of trees available include spring flowering, deciduous, evergreen, and privacy trees. The company also does tree transplanting including up to large trees. Their blog can be seen at http://www.bigtreesupply.com/blog/
