Automated Valet, USA Parking Celebrate Launch of Parking University

As USA Parking™ celebrates the opening of its newly remodeled USA Parking University™ facility October 10, 2011, Automated Valet Founder and CEO Ken Gulec will be attending to introduce his company’s contribution to the program.

Ft. Lauderdale, FL, October 01, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Automated Valet supplied computers and management system technology to USA Parking University so each employee in the Manager in Training program will receive the most complete training possible. Gulec says his company’s participation in the remodel is in collaboration with USA Parking and will have lasting benefits to USA Parking University as well as the clients it serves.

Automated Valet has also created a new app, Valet Manager, for iPad, which gives management and management trainees at USA Parking a real-time remote connection to their facilities to monitor business, create reports, and handle any issues that arise. Gulec will unveil the app during the ceremonies for USA Parking University. The app was made specifically for the company and offers the most current technology in the industry. Apps for iPhone and iPad are making major strides into the parking industry reducing the need for complicated infrastructure and hardware.

USA Parking, a wholly owned subsidiary of Central Parking Systems Inc, has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars to create USA Parking University, to strengthen its current employees and prepare newcomers for success in the company. “USA Parking promotes from within its ranks as much as possible and the Manager in Training curriculum is mandatory for all new managers,” says Bill Bodenhamer President and CEO of USA Parking. Many important subjects are addressed including aggressive hospitality, revenue control, risk management, training and development leadership, operations leadership, and human resources. USA Parking University is also open to select external candidates.

The training lasts from 3 to 6 months depending on chosen subject. When the course is finished it is intended that each student will be made an assistant manager or manager.
