TV4U to Air “The Columbus Day Fund Raiser” from the Italian American Club in Las Vegas October 15th
TVS Television Network will produce the variety TV show with stars Dick Contino, Lena Prima, Pete Barbutti, Richie D and the Hi-Lites, The Rock-Its, Shiela Del Monte, Jerry Tiffe, Kelly D, and Nelson Sardelli.
Las Vegas, NV, October 02, 2011 --(PR.com)-- TV4U.Com, the 48 channel IPTV network, will air “The Columbus Day Fundraiser” from the Italian American Club in Las Vegas on October 15th. Leading a stellar cast for the show are legendary Vegas icon Nelson Sardelli, who will host the event. Also appearing will be national stars such as comedian Pete Barbutti, Dick Contino, and Jerry Tiffe. Also appearing will be Lena Prima, daughter of Louis Prima, Richie D and the Hi-Lites, The Rock-Its, Sheila Del Monte, and Kelly D.
The special telecast is a fund raising event and all proceeds from the television, home video, and video downloading of the show will be donated by the TVS Television Network, as will all production, manufacturing, and distribution costs.
“We are honored to be associated with the Italian American Club and these fine performers as we join in the efforts to raise money for their charitable events,” said Margate Entertainment LLC owners Tom Ficara and Charry Kennedy. “The legacy of the Italian American Club in Las Vegas is that of a true friend for those in need as they have tirelessly raised money for causes from local to international.” Margate Entertainment LLC owns the TVS Television Network, TV4U.Com, and RKO Records, who will be handing out free RKO Records CDs of classic jazz artists such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, and Lester Young to all who attend the event.

“When you walk into the Sorrento Room at the Italian American Club in Las Vegas, you are transported back in time to the glory days of Las Vegas,” continued Charry Kennedy, TV4U CEO who formerly headed entertainment for Caesars Palace. “We plan to create TV shows that depict that era for the enjoyment of those who lived through it and the younger folks not fortunate enough to have enjoyed the excitement of those glory days of Las Vegas.”
The Columbus Day Fundraiser at the Italian American Club consists of a fabulous night of entertainment, raffles and a live auction, great prizes, and the chance to watch yourself dance and have fun on TV. Donation is $40 per person.
“I have such fond memories of going to the Italian American Club with my grandfather in New Jersey,” concluded TVS CEO Tom Ficara. “It was like yesterday that he would drink his Peroni, smoke his stogie and read Il Progresso. To be able to relive even a little bit of those memories makes all of this so very special to me.”
