At 8am on Friday Oct 14th Rick Giarla will embark on His adventure. He plans to scale the roof of a local restaurant where He will attempt to reside for 72 hours.

South Providence School is an alternative school for students who have difficulty in the traditional school environment and serves students in grades 6 through 12 who need a more individualized educational setting and a smaller school environment.

Rick Giarla, an active community member, saw this as an opportunity to help the school. “I can make a difference and help South Providence get the same technology that the more affluent schools receive," He stated.
