QNAP Releases QGet V2.1 Download Management Software, Adding HTTPS Secure Connection, and Enhancing BT Task Management Capabilities
Taipei, Taiwan, October 05, 2011 --(PR.com)-- QNAP Systems, Inc. today released the new QGet V2.1 download management software for its popular lineup of Turbo NAS servers.
QGet is an easy-to-use download management application provided with QNAP Turbo NAS servers. QGet is compatible with Windows and Mac systems and allows users to manage BT, HTTP and FTP download tasks of the QNAP Download Station on multiple Turbo NAS servers, both locally and remotely.
“We have added HTTPS secure connection (SSL) feature to the new QGet V2.1 to protect user’s privacy, including login credentials and download information,” said Jason Hsu, product manager of QNAP. Furthermore, the new QGet can display the finish time of each completed BT task, making BT task management more straightforward.
