Duluth, MN, October 05, 2011 --(PR.com)-- NelsonJersett is pleased to announce it has been appointed interactive agency for Cameroon Healthcare Development Program, a non-profit medical exchange and education organization based in Duluth, Minnesota. The website will be used to drive recruitment, volunteers, and funding to continue advancing the quality of healthcare in northern Cameroon, Africa.

Headed by Drs. Johannes and Martha Aas, retired SMDC physicians, the program was originally established in 1999 as a SMDC (Essentia Health) and Cameroon medical exchange program. In January 2010, the independent, non-profit Board of the Cameroon Healthcare Development Program (CHDP) was established. The cooperative program of education and cultural interaction still exists between Essentia Health and Oeuvre’ de Santé’ De L’Eglise Evangelique Lutherienne du Cameroun (OSEELC) in Cameroon. The mission of CHDP is to advance the quality of healthcare in northern Cameroon through a partnership with OSEELC through a variety of methods such as provision of direct medical care, infrastructure improvement, education, medical equipment and supplies and program development.

“This will be a great opportunity for us to present important global information through interactive media,” said Jodi Jersett, Vice President and Creative Director at NelsonJersett. “The impact of this organization (CHDP) stretches from the United States, to France and Cameroon and having an interactive component will ensure all countries are provided the same information in a timely manner, as it becomes a great tool for recruiting and fundraising in supporting the project.”
