It helps people maintain a healthy weight, good muscle tone, and youthful balance and coordination, while providing a good low impact cardio workout with no special equipment or clothing needed to get started. Professional instruction is now available online for the first time, helping people learn at their pace in the convenience of their home.
About the featured choreographer
Gloria Stone was introduced to dance when she took an aerobic dance class at her church in Warren, Ohio, in 1981. Then she enrolled in another class at the local recreation center. She was given the opportunity to instruct the class at church and within the year was teaching four classes at the recreation center. She did this for five years using original choreography. In 1992 she started line dancing and soon was dancing five days a week, as well as attending weekend line dance events. Stone currently instructs three classes, choreographs, and dances for personal pleasure at least once a week.
