Smartec expands range of monitors with new STM-323 32” models, designed for round-the-clock operation in the multi-channel video surveillance systems.
Tallinn, Estonia, October 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- New Smartec STM-323 32" LCD-monitor is equipped with black metal housing and 32-inch LCD-matrix with Full HD resolution and 178°/178° viewing angles. New model has 5000:1 contrast ratio and 450 cd/m2 of maximum brightness. In addition, this video surveillance monitor features high reliability rate and provides 24/7 operation, generating high-quality images with the help of Anti-Burn function and three-dimensional noise reduction system (3DNR). To view video from different sources, Smartec monitor is equipped with HDMI/2xBNC/VGA video outputs and audio channel. STM-323 is also supplied with desk stand and IR remote control for convenient video surveillance of the object.
STM-323 is equipped with BNC/VGA/HDMI interfaces for HD video transmission from various sources - cameras, DVRs and PCs. Due to the absence of digital-to-analog conversion when transmitting information through HDMI interface, video surveillance monitor generates high-quality images that enhance the effectiveness of overall video surveillance system. Smartec monitor with HDMI can be connected to the DVR and display video in multiscreen mode with up to D1 resolution.
Increased reliability is ensured by metal housing that protects monitor from damage, during operation in adverse conditions. Long lifetime of STM-323 is provided by Anti Burn-in function, which eliminates “burning” pixels of the matrix when displaying static scenes. 32-inch diagonal and wide 178°/178° viewing angles provide different types of mounting positions and ensure the maximum comfort during video surveillance system operation.
To reduce the noise level on the image, this monitor uses three-dimensional digital noise reduction system (3DNR). The video system operator can select the appropriate level of noise reduction - low, medium or high. During processing of signals from video cameras or DVRs system, 3DNR analyzes the current frame and the sequence of previous frames, filters the noise and compensates the pixels in the filtered frame. As a result of 3DNR analysis, video surveillance monitor generates clear images with high detail.
New widescreen monitors provide different image aspect ratio (16:9 or 4:3) and can display video information both in full screen or multiscreen mode. Moreover, video surveillance monitor supports PiP (“Picture in Picture”) and PbP (“Picture by Picture”), allowing the operator to select the video source for main and background monitor frames.
