Canadian Construction Association Launches New CCA Website and Opens Registration for 2012 Conference
Ottawa, Canada, October 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) launched a brand new website for the organization, featuring streamlined navigation, a modernized look, and updated content for CCA members and the general public.
The bilingual website is part of an overall strategy to improve CCA communications to its membership and to those outside the organization. The new website also features CCA social media links, including YouTube (www.youtube.com/ConstructionCAN), LinkedIn (www.linkedin.com/company/canadian-construction-association---association-canadienne-de-la-construction), and Twitter (www.twitter.com/ConstructionCAN), where members and the general public can find out more about CCA activities.
“As more and more business and communication is done online, we knew we would have to take an objective look at our current web presence,” said Pierre Boucher, Chief Operating Officer of CCA. “Our previous website was becoming out-of-date, so it became very important to us that we create a modern and intuitive web design for CCA. Needless to say, we are very pleased with the results.”
In addition to the change in layout and design, much of the content has been edited and updated. An improved search function makes content easier to find, and the website can also be quickly and easily changed to ensure pertinent information is readily available.
As well, the new website also features a brand new design, including a registration site for the CCA Annual Conference, being hosted next year in Savannah, Georgia from March 11-16, 2012. The site features all the details for the conference, including program, speaker and accommodation information.
Registration for the conference opened this week, and will continue until March of 2012.
“We felt it was very important to launch the conference registration site in conjunction with our new website launch,” Boucher continued. “The CCA Annual Conference is a premiere event on the CCA calendar, and it was only fitting to provide an enhanced image for the conference with a new and improved website.”
