Hunter Palooza Raises $17,000 for Charity

Waldorf, MD, October 08, 2011 --(PR.com)-- HuntOnly.com one of the internet’s top deer hunting websites is proud to announce that their 4th Annual Hunter Palooza event raised over $17,000 to benefit Farmers and Hunter’s Feeding the Hungry (FHFH).

HuntOnly.com is proud to put together this annual event which began as a fundraiser for the local chapter of FHFH. Each season the local chapter would fall short of being able to process all the donated deer Southern Maryland hunters wished to donate. Since the first Hunter Palooza event in 2008, FHFH has been able to fund the butchering and processing every season. Last year the local chapter of FHFH processed over 750 donated deer which provided over 150,000 meals to the local community.

This year Hunter Palooza was taken to a new level thanks to our MC of the event, Dale Dodson of Hunter’s Helping Kids. “Dale kept the evening flowing and kept the crowd involved throughout the night. He has a knack for spreading the passion and enthusiasm of hunting and helping others,” commented Steve Johnson, owner of HuntOnly.com.

Hunter Palooza 2011 gave away more guns than any previous event and between the live auctions, silent auctions, and 50/50 raffles, attendees had numerous chances to walk out with some great prizes from some big name sponsors. More importantly their generosity helped contribute to those in need. HuntOnly.com and Fred’s Sports make a 100% donation of all the funds raised.
