The American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) is a nonprofit, non-governmental, public service, membership society. ISO/IEC 17025:2005 is the main standard used by testing and calibration laboratories and includes management requirements that are primarily related to the operation and effectiveness of the quality management system within the laboratory as well as technical requirements that include factors which determine the correctness and reliability of the tests and/or calibrations performed at the laboratory.
The accreditation which is valid to August 31, 2013 gives added credibility to the Scope of Microbiological and fungal resistance testing and test reports which MicroStar Lab LTD provides for its customers.
