Kraus, founder and CEO of Future Health Software, addressed the distinguished American Chiropractic Association House of Delegates in Porland, OR during their annual meeting regarding the future of EHR, the Medicare EHR incentive and Meaningful Use requirements.

About the Medicare EHR Incentive
The Medicare EHR Incentive offers chiropractors up to $44,000 over five years for implementing a certified EHR system within their practice. These incentives are part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. The amount received is based on Medicare-allowed charges submitted during the payment year or payment time frame. Chiropractors receive 75 percent of their eligible Medicare-allowed charges, up to the maximum limit for a certain payment year.
