Voodoo Tiki Tequila Announces Hand Painted Dia de los Muertos 2011 Extra Anejo Tequila
Miami, FL, October 18, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The limited “Dia de los Muertos” (Day of the Dead) edition of the 2012 Voodoo Tiki Tequila Coleccion Privada de la Familia, Extra Anejo is now available for pre-order.
Standing over 2 feet tall, the Voodoo Tiki Tequila Coleccion Privada de la Familia Extra Anejo is packaged in an authentic, real wood, hand carved Voodoo Tiki. Limited to 1,000 signed and numbered collections, the “Day of the Dead” edition is hand painted with images of Mayan art, and interplanetary scenes depicting what many believe is the coming 2012 Doomsday. The front Voodoo Tiki face is painted in classic Dia de los Muertos, “Sugar Skull” fashion paying tribute to loved ones lost. Various symbols, concepts and designs have been incorporated into each unit making each package as unique as the lucky owner for which it was painstakingly created.
Inside the artisan package, tequila aficionados will discover one liter of small batch, craft, single barrel Voodoo Tiki Extra Anejo Tequila. Voodoo Tiki aged Tequila is aged to taste, never color or time and features notes of sweet agave, vanilla, caramel, butterscotch, dark chocolate, and brandy, without the heat, burn or rough finish which is synonymous with other tequilas. The bottle is handmade Mexican bubble glass and features deep etched glass on the front, and an official Voodoo Tiki “Magic Word” on the back. Each bottle is also is crafted to feature a solid glass Voodoo Tiki Idol inside. Completing the package, each bottle is hand painted with 24 karat gold lettering.
The “Day of the Dead” is celebrated each year in Mexico. This day is a tribute to adults who have passed, when the souls of the dead join in celebration. Symbolic to these celebrations are the gifts and offerings or “ofrendas” dedicated to the deceased.
