Free Seminars & Product Demonstrations Offer Insight Into File-Based Production Workflow
Free two-day seminar and product demo event - file-based production workflow.
Toronto, Canada, October 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Vistek’s Production Video Solutions Group (PVSG) is adding a second date to its fully-booked day-long Acquisition to Archive event. Wednesday, Oct. 19 has been added to the original Tuesday (Oct. 18) showcase of the latest technologies and processes to simplify and streamline video file-based production workflow.
The day-long free event is designed to enlighten and inform attendees about the best practices and products to improve their production workflows. Presentations include such topics as File-based Acquisition (with Francois Gauthier of Sony Canada), Digital Recorders, File-based Media Backup & Transfer, and File Management & Archival. Exciting new product introductions are part of the agenda, as well, with product displays & demos that include Sony, Teradek, Atomos, Aja, Convergent Design, Cinedeck, Telestream, CatDV and Cache-A, to name a few.
“The video production environment has changed dramatically over the past few years, with tape-based acquisition being almost entirely replaced by advanced file-based acquisition,” says Vistek’s Brian Young. “Of course the image quality and file size has increased as well as we have moved to the HD world. This event has been designed to highlight some of the powerful new tools available to manage your overall file-based production workflow.”
The Acquisition to Archive event takes place at Vistek’s flagship store in Toronto (496 Queen St. E, Toronto) on two days: Tuesday, Oct. 18 & Wednesday, Oct. 19. Full details & registration can be found at Vistek.ca/go/AtoA.
