The Smart-eBinder, developed by Visus technologies was recently chosen as the best green software or web based product for 2011 by the readers of two of the construction industry's top publications. The winners of the Environmental Design & Construction Reader's Choice Awards were announced at the recent Greenbuild convention in Toronto, Canada.
Orlando, FL, October 10, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Readers of Environmental Design & Construction and Sustainability Facility magazines have selected the Visus Technologies Smart eBinderTM as the Best Green Software or Web-based Program for 2011.
The results of the annual contest, sponsored by BNP Media, were announced at the 2011 Greenbuild conference and expo in Toronto, Canada. Awards were presented in nine different green categories.
The contest gave both manufacturers and readers the opportunity to showcase and vote for, respectively, the crème de la crème of green building products that best combine sustainable attributes with ease of use and installation. Readers visited the site to cast their vote for their favorite green products.
The Smart eBinder concept was initially developed ten years ago by Visus founder, Bernie Pisczek, and company president, Mark Schulz. Significant enhancements have been added over the past years to make the interactive binders more user friendly as well as more beneficial to the manufacturers.
“This award is especially significant because it comes from our end users, who are obviously pleased by the quality of information and the methods of presentation that are incorporated in the Smart eBinder,” Schulz explained.
