New Tork, NY, April 17, 2007 --(PR.com)-- What started out as a ugly dreary day, later became the night for beauty as Twin sisters Kelli and Vanessa Dunn arrived at Tribal Spears Gallery in Harlem. The two gorgeous statuette woman were there to celebrate the launch of their company “National Online Make-Up Artists” (NOMA for short and nomausa.com on the web) and were surrounded by peers, friends, Family and celebrity guests. Wine and champagne were served all night along with tasty hors d’ oeuvres as the beautiful people mingled and greeted the sisters.
Midway through the party Maurice Woodson, Kelli Dunn’s boyfriend and the man that organized the event, stood before the crowd and spoke eloquently about the accomplishments of the Dunn sisters. He mentioned their many television appearances, which included: The Today Show, The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet, The Montel Williams show, Primetime and Segments with Barabara Walters on 48 hours. He continued to inform the knowing and attentive crowd of features in The New York Post, The New York Sun and Skorch Magazine by the now blushing twins. As he spoke, Woodson moved his loving gaze from Kelli to Vanessa and mentioned how she was considered “one of the prime make-up artists in the country if not the world,” Which caused a roar of applause that signified agreement from a room largely filled with make-up artists. He closed his introduction by informing all that the Dunn sisters were Authors, inventors, world recognized models, script writers and actors who have had a small appearance in the second Matrix Movie - The Matrix Reloaded. But the comment that got the most applause was when he declared the sisters, “simply two cool ass chicks”
The stunningly beautiful identical twins sauntered up to the presentation area and stood before a gigantic glamour shot of themselves before beginning to enthusiastically discuss how NOMA came to be. Vanessa Dunn, who was wearing an amazing ankle length black dress with silver accents, spoke about the two sitting on a bed, in Indian style position, brainstorming an idea that would later become like a “1-800 dentists” but for make-up artists and those in the beauty field. Kelli Dunn who wore a glamourous and fun short cranberry red dress that revealed her gorgeous shape and more gorgeous legs, chimed in by adding how the company would soon be adding hair stylists and that the future of NOMA would also consist of a cosmetic line and a beauty magazine amongst other projects. The natural blend of beauty, charm, charisma, and intelligence possessed by the Dunn sister made one understand the large turn out and the adoration the crowd seemed to genuinely have for them.
Soon after the models turned entrepreneurs finished speaking, new R&B sensation and Harlem resident “OSHY” performed blowing the crowd away. He pulled the ladies up on the stage and thanked them for being an inspiration to anyone with a dream. The party continued well into the night with all having an amazing time and leaving spent but with adorable gift bags in hand to commemorate the evening. With a final toast Kelli and Vanessa Dunn declared the launch party a success...and that it was...and with that National Online Make-up Artists (nomausa.com) was launched into the stratosphere of the beauty industry.
