TLA Productions Announces TGNESE 2012
NH-based entertainment provider announces Guest of Honor, announcing details for the 2012 exhibition.
Hartford, CT, October 11, 2011 --(PR.com)-- While the last panels were delivered and the last purchases made, the producers at TLA Productions already put in motion the details of things to come. After producing The Great New England Steampunk Exhibition 2011 in Fitchburg, MA, James von Hegner of TLA Productions excitedly announced TGNESE 2012 to be held September 28 to 30, 2012 at the larger facility of Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT.
Just three weeks after 700 steampunk enthusiasts walked through the event’s doors, the NH-based entertainment company officially announced their 2012 Guest of Honor, Jeff VanderMeer. Jeff is the creator of The Steampunk Bible: An Illustrated Guide to the World of Imaginary Airships, Corsets and Goggles, Mad Scientists, and Strange Literature. Jeff will appear at TGNESE 2012 all three days and will also be presenting panels on a variety of steampunk-related topics.
With the announcement of the 2012 Guest of Honor, TLA Productions is also accepting vendor registration, as well as panel suggestions and performer applications. TLA expects to have their full schedule of performers announced by early in 2012. On their newly designed website, enthusiasts can also register to volunteer at the exhibition as well as take advantage of the pre-sale ticket price of $35.
Aside from selecting guests and performers for next year’s show, the producers are actively seeking sponsors for the growing event. Based on this year’s attendance, the rapid emergence of steampunk into pop culture and the larger venue, the producers at TLA Productions expect a much larger attendance for the 2012 show. To continue growing with that attendance, financial and in-kind sponsors are necessary to any event. TLA producers are excited to work with local and national companies to host a well-rounded steampunk celebration.
