YesStyle Supports AADAP's Fundraising Concert Showtime 2011 - Changing Lives and Saving Families
Leading online Asian fashion retailer YesStyle served as partner sponsor of Showtime 2011 - Changing Lives and Saving Families, an annual fundraiser hosted by the Asian American Drug Abuse Program (AADAP) on August 27, 2011 at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center in Redondo Beach, California.
Redondo Beach, CA, October 12, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Showtime is one of AADAP's yearly main events and raises funds for individuals and their families affected by substance abuse and addiction. Proceeds from the concert also help the organization provide much needed prevention, counseling and outreach programs.
A non-profit organization, AADAP provides substance abuse treatment services to Asian and Pacific Islander communities in the Los Angeles County and City areas. Showtime 2011 was AADAP's 18th annual benefit concert and celebrated the organization's 39 years of community service. This year's lineup of performers featured popular Asian American artists Jennifer Chung, Feats in Inches, The Bricks and YouTube sensations Clara C and David Choi, who are both part of YesStyle's roster of sponsored talents. Other highlights included a raffle and silent auction.
YesStyle's sponsorship of Showtime 2011 is part of the company's continued effort to be socially responsible and support the global Asian community. "We're happy to help raise awareness for such a meaningful cause," said YesStyle's CEO and Founder, Joshua Lau. "Recent government data shows that drug deaths now outnumber traffic fatalities in the United States so it's important to give our support to organizations like AADAP," he stated. "We hope the funds raised by the event will make a difference in the lives of those affected by drugs."
AADAP's Development Director Paulina Hong expressed appreciation of YesStyle's sponsorship. "Showtime 2011 would not have been a success without our sponsors and we especially thank YesStyle for their extraordinary generosity. YesStyle helped make Showtime 2011 memorable," she said.
