DLR Group Names New Senior Principals and Principals - Regional Leaders Scott Kruse, AIA, and Tom O’Neil, AIA, recognized as Senior Principals; Ron van der Veen, AIA, and Bill Judge, CCCA named Principals.
Seattle, WA, October 13, 2011 --(PR.com)-- DLR Group has appointed Scott Kruse, AIA, and Tom O’Neil, AIA, LEED AP as Senior Principals. The firm also named Ron van der Veen, AIA, LEED AP, and Bill Judge, CCCA, LEED AP as Principals.
Kruse joined DLR Group in its Seattle office in 1981. He is the firm’s Northwest Regional Leader, managing operations and mentoring staff in Seattle, Portland, Ore., and Honolulu. Scott was instrumental in the growth of DLR Group in the Pacific Northwest and the development of the firm’s national Corporate practice. He continues to lead national and regional clients, and projects, in the workplace and retail sectors.

O’Neil is the Southwest Regional Leader for DLR Group, directing operations in six states and offices in Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas, Denver, and Colorado Springs. He joined the firm in Phoenix in 1989, and has contributed to the success of DLR Group as a project leader, K-12 sector leader, and office leader. O’Neil played a key role in the development and growth of the firm’s K-12 practice in Arizona and across the Southwest.

New DLR Group Principal Ron van der Veen is an accomplished designer in the firm’s Seattle office with an unwavering commitment to sustainability and the delivery of high performance buildings to meet 2030 Challenge targets. He is a recognized Higher Education designer and was a founding board member of the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).
Judge is the Practice Leader of the firm’s Inland Empire operations in Riverside, Calif. He joined DLR Group in 2002, and his expertise in quality assurance positively impacts design and schedules. He is a respected mentor to all levels of professionals in the California region.
