Scientific Editing Now More Accessible to Researchers in China
A new agreement between BioScience Writers, a U.S.-based scientific and medical editing company, and Renova Life, a biosciences company with a China-based affiliate, will make it easier for researchers in China to use and arrange payment for scientific editing services. Under the agreement, the BioScience Writers team of experienced Ph.D.- and M.D.-trained editors will provide editing services. Renova Life will work with clients to arrange payment for the editing services in renminbi (RMB).
Houston, TX, October 13, 2011 --(PR.com)-- A new agreement between BioScience Writers, a U.S.-based scientific and medical editing company, and Renova Life, a biosciences company with a China-based affiliate, Lannuo Biotechnologies Wuxi, Inc., will make it easier for researchers in China to use and arrange payment for scientific editing services.
Service companies outside of China who want to do business in China are faced with a currency problem — it is difficult to arrange and receive payments. People in China rarely have access to U.S. credit cards or an easy way to make payments in a foreign currency. Thus, selling business services in China, even via a web-based system, can prove problematic.
Establishing an agreement with a Chinese company that can collect payment in the local currency removes this barrier and allows a more robust presence in the Chinese market. BioScience Writers and Renova Life have teamed up to provide a solution that allows all Chinese researchers easy access to a native English-speaking editing service.
BioScience Writers is a scientific and medical editing service that specializes in working with non-native English-speaking authors. BioScience Writers editors are all native English speakers and experts in the field in which they are editing, a combination of skills that will allow Chinese scientists to stay focused on their research while achieving the grammatical accuracy needed to publish in top journals.
“Professional English-language scientific editing can improve quality and save time for non-native English-speaking researchers” said Susan J. Marriott, President of BioScience Writers. “While we always work to make our editing services as accessible as possible, we found that some clients in China have difficulty paying in U.S. dollars. Our partnership with Renova Life is a direct response to the needs of Chinese researchers.”
Under the agreement, the BioScience Writers team of experienced Ph.D.- and M.D.-trained editors will provide all editing services. Renova Life will work with clients as needed to arrange payment for the editing services in renminbi (RMB).
Marriott said, “Our mission is to provide the highest quality editing service, with affordable rates, fast turnaround times, and a variety of payment options. Our partnership with Renova Life extends our mission, and we look forward to the opportunity to help more researchers.”
