Raquel Castro of The Voice Hosting at Smithtown's Aji 53 on Saturday October 15th

Smithtown, NY, October 12, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Long Island’s own Raquel Castro, a break out star on the reality show – The Voice is set to host the Saturday night party at Aji53 in Smithtown.

Aji53 located at 1 Miller Place (off of Main street) Smithtown NY, is a chic Japanese Fusion restaurant open every day of the week and which turns into a lounge and party environment on Saturday nights.

Kel, as she prefers to be called is a triple threat. At just 16, Kel is an actress, singer, dancer and is currently working on her album and will be performing a few songs from it. Other than her breakout role in Jersey Girl (2004) where she played the daughter of the couple played by Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, Raquel also has a few other credits to her name, most recently Lifetime's America, Brooklyn's Finest (2009), Runaway Love Video (Ludacris / Mary J. Blige) She's had guest spots on NBC's long running drama "Third Watch" as little Moira Kenney, and a guest appearance on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit."

Apart from performing at Saturday Night's event, Raquel will also be taking part in a meet and greet with patrons. Admission into the event is free till midnight and $5 after. The event is co-sponsored by several local Long Island businesses with music by some of the Island's leading DJs. Other celebrities planned for the fall include cast from True Blood and Kaya Jones from Pussy Cat Dolls.
