Stage 18 Television Announces Presenter for New Wine Food & Travel Series - Grape Escapes
Cinnamon Heathcote-Drury has been named as the new host for the 26 Episode (60 Minute) luxury lifestyle, food, wine and travel series produced by Stage 18 Television that will air world-wide.
London, United Kingdom, October 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Stage 18 Television Productions announced the host for the new food, wine and luxury travel television series GRAPE ESCAPES. Each 60 minute (26 Episodes) episode of GRAPE ESCAPES will be hosted by Cinnamon Heathcote-Drury.
From the novice wine drinker to the most experienced oenophile, Heathcote-Drury’s journey of discovery reveals new levels of appreciation and excitement about wine. The fundamental proposition of each episode is that the world of wine is fun, vibrant, sometimes amusing, often sophisticated, but no longer a stuffy or secret society of elitists.
Endlessly curious, Heathcote-Drury takes viewers on a journey of great wine experiences in world-class locations with every episode. Each program will offer complete luxury immersion, giving the viewer a glimpse of the “good life”: exclusive access to exceptional travel, winemaking, gastronomy, culture and its consummate enjoyment.
Whilst her wanderlust continues to be the driving force in her quest for the ultimate sensory experience, it is the people and places that she discovers along the way that makes GRAPE ESCAPES such a riveting journey.
Cinnamon Heathcote-Drury, the “English Rose of Photography,” is a fine art portrait photographer, photo-journalist, and lens based installation artist.
After winning a scholarship to study in the USA as a teenager, she seized the opportunity to travel and rapidly made her first foray into photography, art and celebrity. Returning home to a BA in Drama & Theatre Arts at Exeter University, she then flew to Moscow for a Post-Graduate Diploma at VGIK Film School, and concluded with a Masters in Photographic Studies at University of Westminster.
Award-winning artist Heathcote-Drury has exhibited widely, including at Christie’s, The Royal Academy of Arts, Somerset House, The Strand Gallery, Royal Geographical Society, and Cambridge University; and has eleven portraits in the National Portrait Gallery’s permanent collection. Shooting internationally, her images, portraits, and artwork have appeared in theTimes, Saturday Times, Sunday Independent, Creative Review, Wallpaper Magazine, Marie Claire, Channel 4 "Grand Designs" book, Matchbox Magazine, The Hill, The Gate, In State Magazine…featuring names such as Jeremy Paxman, Jon Snow, Michael Palin, Dawn French, and Terence Stamp, to name but a few.
Backstage Heathcote-Drury has worked with the BBC "Holiday" team, and widely in stills at BBC TV Centre, Millbank and White City, even joining friends reporting from Israel/Palestine for live BBC broadcast in Bethlehem on Christmas Eve 2009, leading to an exhibition at The Strand Gallery the following summer.
