ActionCOACH of Walnut Creek, CA, Launches ORIGINAL Tuesdays: an Innovative B2B Mixer
Walnut Creek, CA, October 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- ActionCOACH launches new networking opportunity exclusively for business owners. Now in its third successful month, ORIGINAL Tuesdays Serious Business Networking happens on the same third Tuesday evening of every month. It provides a tailored mixer for local business owners to generate spheres of influence and business opportunities in a structured environment. The next ORIGINAL Tuesdays will take place on 10/18/2011, at Zio Fraedo’s Italian Restaurant, 611 Gregory Lane., Pleasant Hill, CA, beginning at 5:00pm.

Coach Bob Britz launched ORIGINAL Tuesdays in the Bay Area knowing the small business owners he works with - and the thousands which call the East Bay home - all look for a quality networking event that targets their needs. Above all, attendees must be high-caliber. Unlike most networking events where anyone attends for free, Bob Britz and his team made a few simple rules to ensure excellent turn-out:
Attendees must bring a business card to get in. This screens non-business owners from coming. (Dropped at the door, attendees are entered into a progressive raffle to win an iPad.)
Complementary appetizers, courtesy of the restaurant. The restaurant does not charge for the space, but receives all proceeds from the bar, a flat-fee per person attending, and massive exposure.
$20.00 suggested donation at the door. Half the proceeds go to a local organization. Shelter, Inc., a non-profit providing emergency and long-term housing for homeless children and families in Contra Costa County, was last event’s recipient. This donation creates an environment of “giving to receive” and generates the right mind-set for networking.
Attendees are required to wear a name badge they fill-out at the door. However, only first names are allowed on the name badge. This makes all who participate “equal” and promotes networking as attendees are made to ask each other who they are, a great ice-breaker.
