Golfing for Education: It’s a Family Affair
Dallas, TX, October 14, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Chuck Burch Scholarship Fund, The Burch Financial Group, and Country View Golf Club team up to host the 11th Annual Chuck Burch Scholarship Golf Tournament & Instructional Clinic on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Country View Golf Club in Lancaster, Texas. All proceeds of the tournament go to raise funds for Scholarships for high school students in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex. The Annual Family Affair features Women’s Pampering Sessions, Silent Auction, Youth Challenge, as well as an Instructional Clinic for those interested in learning how to play Golf and tax deductible opportunities are available through Sponsorship, Donations, and Individual Participants.
"We're looking forward to hosting the tournament again. It is a chance to raise money for deserving students in our community and our goal this year is to award $11,000 in scholarships to coincide with the 11th year anniversary," said Chuck Burch, Executive Director and Founder.
The Golf outing will be a 4 person scramble with each person playing the best ball of each. There will be divisions for men, women, coed, and youth teams. High School and current College students are invited to participate also. The tournament starts with a 1:00 pm shotgun start and the course opens for practice and lessons at 7:30am. Lunch and Dinner will be served and awards and prizes for all participants will be presented immediately after the tournament.
