Anderson Thermal Launches New-Fast Response Medium Wavelength Lamps That Increase Line Speeds by 30-100%

Hawthorne, NJ, October 15, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The new, Fast Response Medium Wavelength Lamps (FRMW) are engineered to radiate more energy within the medium wavelength range. Line speeds typically improve by 30-100% in the field. Fast Response Medium Wavelength Lamps are a great match for many substrates, particularly thin films and plastics. Medium wave infrared energy is easily and quickly absorbed by water, inks, paints and many plastics. These heaters have construction like shortwave T3 lamps and are fast responding.

The infrared lamps are capable of a color temperature of 2100ºF (1150ºC) and a peak wavelength of 2.0 microns. This frequency can be generated with up to 100 watts per linear inch. The FRMW is a special product that fills a gap in the marketplace for higher wattages at medium wavelengths.
