Civil Engineer Joins Local Engineering Firm
Raleigh, NC, October 16, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Sepi Asefnia, president of SEPI Engineering & Construction (http://www.sepiengineering.com), a firm which provides civil engineering and planning services to private and public sector clients across the Southeast, has announced the addition of Don Carmen as quality control manager and federal program manager. In his position, Carmen will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality products and growing the SEPI Federal Sector Program.
A native of Wilmington, N.C., Carmen brings nearly four decades of experience to SEPI in the field of civil engineering. He received his bachelor’s degree from Clemson University in Clemson, S.C. and spent 37 years as a member of the United States Army Corps of Engineers, most recently as the chief of general engineering. Upon retirement, Carmen received the Order of the Long Leaf Pine Award from Gov. Beverly Perdue in recognition of his service to the state. Carmen, a member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), currently resides in Wilmington with his wife Mary. He has five children and four grandchildren.
