Touchtown Announces Drastic Price Reductions on Advanced Technology Products for Affordable Senior Housing
Touchtown now offers price discounts on all products in HUD-subsidized and tax credit subsidized housing.

Touchtown Inc. announced today that it is substantially discounting its entire product line for providers of affordable housing, as part of the company’s commitment to improving the quality of life of all older adults nationwide.
The discounts, which range from 35% to 60%, apply to Touchtown’s entire product line, including the company’s At Your Service products for emergency call and emergency notification and the company’s Studio products for in-house television, digital signs, calendars, and web portals. However, two of Touchtown’s products are considered the most cost-effective for affordable housing facilities and are the focus of this program: the emergency call portion of Touchtown At Your Service, and Touchtown Digital Signs.
Under this new program, the discounts are only available for Touchtown products installed in HUD-subsidized housing and tax credit subsidized housing.
The intent of the program is to bring the benefits of advanced technology to America’s low income seniors, according to Jeff Pepper, Touchtown’s Founder and CEO. “Touchtown was founded twelve years ago with the mission of helping older people stay connected, and we are always looking for innovative ways to fulfill our mission. Emergency Call Systems

It provides each resident with a wireless pendant that not only reports who is calling for help, but also where the individual is currently located anywhere in a multi-story building. The pendant also records the individual’s voice and delivers it to staff so that they know why the individual is calling for help. Each Digital Sign system also includes a calendar generation feature, Facebook integration, and a web show for displaying information on the customer’s website.
