Black and Missing Foundation, Inc. Reunites Missing 4 Yr. Old Jhada Clarke with Mother
Landover Hills, MD, October 19, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Black and Missing Foundation, Inc. (BAM FI) announced today that missing four-year-old, Jhada Clarke, has been found safe and reunited with her mother. Jhada is BAM FI's 50th recovery since its inception.
"We rejoice each time we can assist a family member in locating their missing loved one,” said Derrica Wilson, president and CEO of BAM FI.
Jhada, was in the company of her non-custodial father in the Washington, DC area. She was profiled on BAM FI’s clearinghouse and featured last week as the “Missing Child of the Week” on the Michael Baisden Show – a partner of BAM FI. Mr. Clarke's co-workers heard the broadcast on the show and forced him to turn Jhada over and himself in.
"I am forever grateful to Black and Missing Foundation and The Michael Baisden Show for getting my daughter's information out there,” said Rose Walker – Jhada’s mother. “If it wasn't for you guys, I would not have my baby right now. The work that you all are doing is not in vain."
"BAM FI’s partnership with the Michael Baisden Show has proven to be a vital, successful tool in returning missing children to their families," said Natalie Wilson, co-founder of BAM FI.
Derrica Wilson adds, "We would like to thank everyone for being vigilant in the search for Jhada. Without our community taking action, her safe return would not be possible."
